Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948, the iconic DSR chair has a distinctive chrome base and is often referred to as the 'Eiffel' chair. The initials stand for Dining (height) Side (chair) Rod (base) and the chair was one of a series of chairs that shared the same comfortable seat shell, originally made from fibreglass and now made in polypropylene by Vitra. Part of our Conran Classic collection, it is available in white, cream, yellow, red, light blue, mauve and black.
