Cafetière technology has been applied to tea making as Bodum’s Assam glass teapots have a central, stainless steel filter into which you spoon loose tea leaves. After filling with water, allow the tea to brew for 3–4 minutes before depressing the plunger, which stops the brewing process and eliminates the need for a strainer (and burned fingers!). The quirky teapot is made of borosilicate glass, which is thermal shock resistant to stop heat related cracking, and its top has a chrome finish.This teapot holds 1L and is also available as a smaller 0.5 litre teapot. It is dishwasher safe making it very easy to clean and maintain.Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Dishwasher safe.
