The Bialetti Moka Express Espresso Maker is based on the original design of the classic stove-top espresso pot that was launched in 1933.Made from aluminium, the elegant 6 cup espresso maker is a design icon from the golden age of Art Deco and is decorated with the group’s classic ‘Little man with a moustache’ trademark, which was created in the 1950s by Paul Campani.Today, the iconic Moka Express – a no-frills, aluminium pot that delivers a potent punch of coffee over and over again with minimal maintenance – can be found in 90% of all Italian homes.Its features include a safety valve, a soft touch handle and knob.Bialetti was founded in 1919 by Alfonso Bialetti who opened a workshop in Crusinallo to make semi-finished aluminium products. He later transformed it into a studio for the design and production of market-ready finished goods.
