Industrial designer Richard Sapper's 1972 Tizio desk lamp for Artemide combines German engineering expertise with Italian design and was the first domestic lamp to use a halogen bulb. Part of our Conran Classic collection, it is made from matte black-painted aluminium, which conducts the current wirelessly from the transformer in its base to the low-voltage bulb (included).
