Gone are the days of fumbling in the dark for a light switch thanks to The Cuboluce. The compact Cuboluce, which literally means a ‘light box’, allows the level and angle of light emitted to be adjusted simply by varying the degree to which its lid is opened.Designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi, the lamp was designed to create a link between décor accessories and lighting and it makes a perfect light for reading in bed. Two of these lights would look great either side of a bed.The Cuboluce is a part of the permanent collection at New York’s Museum of Modern Art and at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Made from technopolymers, it takes one 40w E14 R50 bulb (included). Comes with euro plug will require adaptor. It is available in black or white.
