Frustrated by the inflexibility of his workshop lamps, Jean-Louis Domecq designed what were to become known as Jieldé lamps (after his own initials) in the early 1950s. Made from robust steel, the Loft D9406 floor lamp has articulated arms, which conduct the electrical current and enable the height and angle of the beam to be directed where it's most needed. Part of our Conran Classic collection, it takes one 40 watt E14 bulb (not included).
