British designer Tom Dixon’s copper Fat Spot Floor light is a quirky alternative to the numerous minimal architectural spotlights on the market. The history of Copper as one of the first metals worked by man, combined with the sleek modern curves of the Fat Spot, results in a contemporary light with a retro feel. The light is made from ribbed plastic polycarbonate with a metalised copper finish which creates an enriched and softened light source. It has a separate base, also coated in copper, which can be adjusted and provide a focused beam of light. It takes a maximum E27 60 watt bulb (not included).
