This petite table lamp was designed by Christian Dell who was part of the Bauhaus school in its early Weimar days. Trained as a silversmith, Dell supervised and taught at the school’s metal workshop between 1992 and 1925. Although his designs date from the 1920s, Dell’s lighting was first produced by Gebrüder Kaiser in the 1930s. The lamp is part of a collection that includes table, floor, wall and ceiling lights and is made from chrome-plated brass and hand-lacquered steel. The angle of the shade is adjustable via a patented, silver-soldered hinge.Available in black or white, each lamp comes with a certificate of authenticity and has a unique serial number engraved on its base. Recommended Light Source – Osram Halogen Energy Saver 28-52W.
