Skye Gyngell In Conversation with Christopher Stocks

Celebrated chef, Skye Gyngell , talks about the connection between growing food and its health giving properties. Formerly of Petersham Nurseries, and now culinary director of Heckfield Place, Skye's approach to cooking pursues freshness and flavour, using quality seasonal ingredients. Christopher is features editor at House & Garden magazine and a prolific writer, including author of Forgotten Fruits, which celebrates Britain's lost fruit and vegetables.

Shane Connolly Book Signing – ‘A Year in Flowers’

Inspired by the flora and fauna on show during Chelsea Flower Show? Join us in store as celebrated florist Shane Connolly signs copies of his book ‘A Year in Flowers’. Having trained at the prestigious London Academy of Pulbrook and Gould, Shane Connolly is one of the world’s most recognised and venerated florists. Famed for his elegance and originality, his eclectic range of clients includes the Victoria & Albert Museum and The Royal Academy of Arts. Following a series of commissions from the Royal family, Shane was awarded the Royal Warrant of Appointment to HRH the Prince of Wales and was the Artistic Director for the wedding of TRH’s the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.

Combining vintage pieces with contemporary classics, this new space houses an eclectic edit of furnishings, home accessories and gift items. The Conran Apartment is a new addition to the top floor, and is home to iconic furniture, original artwork and exclusive objects that capture and inspire the Conran way of life. From quirky accessories to hand-crafted textiles, unique furniture to limited edition decorative pieces, the new look Conran Shop showcases inspiring design.
Marylebone Interiors Day - ‘Spring Styling’ Workshops in the Conran Apartment

Join us to celebrate the cream of Marylebone’s design talent in the first Marylebone Interiors Day on the 25th May. Recognising the wealth of inspiring interiors in the area, this inaugural day of talks, consultations and offers will enthuse both experts and beginners alike.
The Conran Shop welcomes Decorations Editor (House & Garden), Gabby Deeming, as she hosts a styling workshop in our newly refurbished Marylebone store. Situated on the top floor, the new Conran Apartment provides the setting for the talk that will capture the spirit of The Conran Shop and highlight how to update your home with the perfect mix of vintage, classic and contemporary additions. The talk will start at 2pm and will last 25 minutes. Space is very limited so don’t miss out, email rsvp@conran.com to secure your spot. Customers will also have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a Marylebone Interiors Day hamper worth over £500.
