Inspired by the 100-year-old brownstones that line the streets of Brooklyn, Jason Miller designed the 056 Elliot Dining Chair in black oiled walnut for De La Espada.
Renovated yet full of original detailing such as ornate fireplaces, mouldings and woodwork, these houses are a literal juxtaposition of old and new design. Capturing this in his interpretation, the smooth lines of Jason Miller’s 056 Elliot Dining Chair would complement both old and new interiors.
With a frame expertly crafted in Portugal from luxuriously grained American black walnut, the elegant chair is available upholstered in Vidar and Coda fabrics from Kvadrat. Designed by Raf Simons and Fanny Aronsen, Vidar has a large-grained texture with a gentle satin surface finish and is crafted from 94% new wool and 6% nylon. Coda, designed by Norway Says and Per Bjornsen, is woven in two layers from 90% new wool and 10% nylon, formed from two colours to highlight its three-dimensional character.
Designing intricately detailed furniture from his studio in New York, designer Jason Miller’s creations capture the almost sculptural quality of traditional American design. Harnessing De La Espada’s woodworking expertise, Jason Miller’s timeless pieces would make the perfect addition to any space.
Upholstery available in 6 different colours.
