Exemplifying Alvar Aalto’s proficiency in designing bent wood furniture, the Aalto Storage Collection includes a series of innovative, space-optimising pieces: wall shelves, wall drawers and umbrella stands, available in a selection of natural, white-lacquered or black-lacquered finishes.
Crafted from bent birch, each piece in the storage collection presents a timeless form, from the useful wall drawer with a surface for storing and inbuilt drawer storage, to the umbrella stand with a complementary brass base. The renowned wall shelving is available in both singular shelf forms in varying lengths and three-tiered versions, so you can cater the storage to your space.
Alvar Aalto was one of the founding members of Finnish manufacturer, Artek, and embraced strong individuality with focus on designing predominantly for humanity, creating functional and dynamic pieces for public and personal spaces alike.
