Unveiled by Alvar Aalto in 1952, The A201 Pendant Light was initially intended for the Säynätsalo Town Hall library in Finland.

The light's sculptural form results from powder-coated steel and brass-plated accents, its 'halo' casting a soft, indirect light over both private and public spaces.

Alvar Aalto was one of the founding members of Finnish manufacturer Artek and embraced strong individuality with a focus on designing predominantly for humanity, creating functional and dynamic pieces for all to enjoy.

Requires: 1x max. 12W E27 bulb (not included).

Care instructions: Use a soft cloth, dampened with water and soap, or mild cleanser if needed for resistant dirt; do not use alcohol or other solvents.
