Briefed by British Airways to ‘make the best plane in the world even better’, Sir Terence redesigns the interior of the sound barrier-breaking airborne icon, Concorde, renewing the aircraft with postmodern inspired aesthetics.

TOKYO SHIFT

Conran + Partners complete work on Roppongi Hills: a bold regeneration plan for a new world-class urban development in the heart of Tokyo. Working with the Mori Building Company, 27 acres of the city are designed and purpose-built from the ground up.

ROYAL RECOGNITION

Sir Terence Conran’s outstanding contribution to the industry is marked with his acceptance of the Prince Philip Designers Prize, one of the country’s most illustrious design awards.
