Anni Albers’ 1956 wall hanging for the Temple Emanu-El in Dallas has been beautifully transformed into an elegant berry-red square cushion by Christopher Farr.
Meticulously woven in England using 100% linen, the red, blue and white ‘Temple’ Cushion Cover recreates Albers’ original artwork. Produced in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, the cushion presents the unique opportunity to invest in a striking collision between art and interiors.
Since 1988, Christopher Farr has been at the forefront of contemporary textile design. Utilising only the finest yarn and dyes and collaborating with the most talented weavers from across the world, the creation of a Christopher Farr piece is a painstaking process that results in rugs that are nothing less than works of art.
