Bird Chair in Hopsack Orange Upholstery

£3,732.00

Described as a 'study in space, form and function', Harry Bertoia's 1952 design has become an icon of 20th century furniture, and yet continues to feel as radical and modern today as it did when Knoll first produced the chairs over 60 years ago.

The Bird chair is as much a sculpture as a piece of furniture. With a welded steel frame, comprising of polished steel rods, the Bird chair forms part of Bertoia's legendary wire seating collection. Its high back lends additional support and an almost hammock-like seating position for optimum comfort and relaxation. Rubber buffers incorporated into the seat provide extra flexibility.

The chair is available with a matching ottoman, both of which can be fully upholstered. Shown here in a Hopsack Orange pure cotton upholstery from KnollTextiles, the Bird chair is available in a variety of fabric options. Please visit one of our two London showrooms or call us on 0844 848 4000 to discuss any bespoke preferences.
