Inspired by Sweden’s spa culture and by coastal living, L:a Bruket co-founder Monica Kylén began making organic and environmentally friendly skincare products for herself. Today, she uses the same philosophy to create L:a Bruket’s collection of pure, natural skincare and home fragrances.
Founded by Kylén, alongside Mats Johansson, in 2008, L:a Bruket aims to improve your total wellbeing by combining modern technology with age-old approaches to skincare. Drawing influence from traditional sea therapies such as seaweed bathing, L:a Bruket has blended a collection of scrubs, soaps, hand washes and creams to perfectly complement a contemporary lifestyle.
Driven by nature rather than chemicals, L:a Bruket uses sustainably sourced seaweed and algae as key ingredients in its cleansing formulas. These natural ingredients are harvested by hand along Sweden’s west coast and provide essential amino acids, vitamins and nutrients. Each piece of skincare is carefully designed to protect and nurture skin whilst gradually training it to perform better in the future.
