Neverending Glory Metropolitan Pendant Light
Designed to emulate iconic chandeliers from five of the world's most distinguished concert halls and theatres, the Neverending Glory Metropolitan Opera lighting collection is the work of design duo Jan Plechá? and Henry Wielgus.
Created for prestigious Czech lighting manufacturers, Lasvit, the sophisticated collection showcases the designers’ free-spirited creativity and imaginative innovation, and is available here in clear, iridescent, opal or smoked glass finishes.
Hand-blown by artisanal craftsmen, the Metropolitan Opera pendant has a fluid, captivating silhouette, inspired by the ‘Sputnik’ chandeliers suspended throughout its namesake opera house. To create this design, Plechá? and Wielgus took the original chandelier muse and rotated it to form new lines, which appear ephemerally still yet continually in motion.
