Since it was founded by Sir Terence Conran in 1973, The Conran Shop has gone from strength to strength. Responsible for the revival of the historic Michelin House building on Chelsea’s Fulham Road, the iconic design institution now boasts a portfolio of Stores across the globe, including in Marylebone, London’s Selfridges, Paris, Japan and South Korea.
The Conran Shop houses an extensive assortment of own-brand designs, including furniture, lighting, textiles, dinnerware, and fashion. Each piece is designed in-house or in collaboration with world-renowned designers, and produced by artisans all over the world, chosen for their craftsmanship, quality and shared ethos for creating simple yet incredibly functional pieces. With new additions every week, each piece in The Conran Shop’s exclusive collection is designed to reflect the way we live today.
When the great, late Sir Terence founded The Conran Shop nearly five decades ago, he filled it with the very best products and furniture from the four corners of the world. Ever since, The Conran Shop has built a reputation on combining its experience with the savoir-faire of expert craftspeople to produce designs that will last. It also houses a vast collection of classic and modern furniture from the likes of Charles and Ray Eames, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Florence Knoll.

Crafted in Italy from white-stained beech, the chair features rust-proof hinges and a specially engineered layer of paint to prevent sun damage. Boasting a foldable frame with removable fabric, it pairs perfectly with our range of deck chairs and is easily self-assembled without any tools.
