Whilst the original model for the contemporary A910 Wall Light was created during the 1950s, it wasn’t until the 1990s that Alvar Aalto unveiled the finished piece.
Certain to lend a touch of contemporary style to any home, the light features a series of hand-riveted thin metal sheets arranged in a staggered circular formation that give it an almost sculptural quality. Simple and unobtrusive, the wall light affixes to vertical surfaces and would enhance any space with its warm glow.
Its maker, Alvar Aalto was one of the founding members of Finnish manufacturer Artek and embraced strong individuality with a focus on designing predominantly for humanity, creating functional and dynamic pieces for public and personal spaces alike.
