Originally designed for the Das Haus exhibition at the 2015 Cologne Fair, the Commune Stool reflects on design duo neri&hu’s idea of a future society, crafted from American white oak with statement legs and manufactured in Portugal by De La Espada.
Working from a stimulus of community and collective, neri&hu created this contemporary stool to showcase its split legs working together to support its surface.
Crafted from American white oak wood finished with Danish oil, the Commune Stool is awarded a natural grain to accent its fluid, round surface.
