Designed in 1950 by iconic duo Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra, the DAW Plastic Armchair showcases the signature ‘Eiffel’ base, golden maple legs and a minimalist cream seat.
Crafted from recyclable dyed-through polypropylene for greater comfort, the seat sits on a striking base with black steel cross struts and elegant golden maple legs.
The first industrially produced plastic chair, the DAW has a simple and organic shape that has led to its legendary status and universal appeal. Updated in 2016, Vitra added 2cm to the height of the chair and revised the geometry of the seat for optimum ergonomics and comfort.
