The Déjà-vu chair by designer Naoto Fukasawa is part of the contemporary Déjà-vu collection from Magis.
The smart, ultra-modern die-cast aluminium seat and polished aluminium frame comes with an optional painted chair back available in several finishes to suit any interior. Nicely sized, the chairs wide seat provides superior comfort without compromising on style.
Designed in 2007, Fukasawa’s original vision was to create a design that could “entwine with people’s actions and with the environment, too.” The result is a retro-inspired chair with a contemporary twist, which offers versatility as it truly works with an array of interior schemes.
In 2007, the Déjá-vu chair won the Interior Innovation Award (Best Item) at IMM Cologne and in 2008 it was nominated for the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik in Germany.
