An instantly recognisable piece, the chair features an organically shaped, dyed-through polypropylene shell which rests upon a chrome tubular steel base, complete with rubber shock mounts for support and stability.
Designed in 1950, the chair's universal shape led to its legendary status and appeal. In continual development for the modern user, Vitra revised the geometry of the seat to achieve optimal ergonomics and comfort.
