Part of the iconic Eames Soft Pad Group, this EA 219 Office Chair is one of the office chairs that makes up this range, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1969. With similar frame styles to the Eames Aluminium Group, the Eames Soft Pad Group is defined by its sewn-on cushions that create a supple and luxurious contrast to the clean-lined silhouette of the base.
Upholstered in premium leather in an array of colours, the Eames EA 219 chair is covered with soft, smooth aniline cowhide that showcases a flat grain, dyed-through for colour and lightly pigmented for a high-quality finish.
Characterised by a high backrest for superior comfort, the Eames EA 219 chair swivels for simple manoeuvring and has a specifically designed tilt mechanism that can be adjusted to the weight of the user for optimum comfort.
