Considered a Danish design classic, the Klint Lamp was originally designed by Esben Klint in 1950 for design pioneer, Lyngby Porcelæn.
The sharp, crisp design of the Klint Lamp represents an evolution in Denmark’s design landscape, out of the functionality of the 1940s, into more sculptural, razor-sharp lines and forms.
Taking reference from the linearity of the world renowned Lyngby vase, the Klint Lamp echoes its contours in a porcelain stem and plastic shade, composed of the same concertina relief pattern as its muse.
Lyngby’s factory closed between 1969 and 2012, since its re-opening, Klint’s lamp has gone back into production, as originally the designs were not widely distributed outside of Denmark.
The Klint Table Lamp’s pristine white folds would beautifully enhance an array of interior styles and are sure to lend a touch of character to any surface or room.
Please note: The recommended bulb type for this lamp is one E27 bulb max.60W (not included).
