Description
The captivating, Conran-exclusive GJ Bow Chair is a classic Grete Jalk design from 1963 and is manufactured today by Lange Production with the help of several Danish cultural institutions.
Crafted from just two pieces of plywood, the chair is available in black-stained ash and teak accents. Jalk’s most renowned design, the expressive chair has been lauded for half a century for its complex structure and refined lines.
Lange Production is the passion of Henrik Lange, who has collected design objects since the age of five. Stationed in Denmark, the manufacturer focuses particularly on designs from the 1960s, working closely with the estates of the original designers to ensure authenticity and quality. Grete Jalk was instrumental to Danish modernist design, paving the way for female designers.
