Handcrafted in a unique process by Haeckels, the GPS 12’ 0”E scented candle is an aromatic snapshot, cataloguing local elements and botanicals such as overgrown blackberries, raspberries and sea lavender on the sight of an ancient abbey.
Designed on a sunny 23rd July in 2014, this scented candle is named after the exact map reference at which it was created. An aromatic snapshot of cliff-top ruins with the sea crashing below, the fragrance mirrors plump wild berries that are overgrown in the space, while encompassing the scented sea breeze, flowers and wild parsley in surrounding foliage.
This elegant scented candle is made with 100% natural, GM free soy wax for a truly eco-friendly finish that is longer-lasting than traditional paraffin wax, while the beautiful glass vessel is hand-blown by artisans to withstand high and low temperatures.
Based in a clifftop laboratory in Margate, Kent, Haeckels handcrafts each of its products, formulating and distilling them from local botanicals that offer the best antioxidant properties.
Founded in 2012 by volunteer beach warden Dom Bridges, Haeckels sets out to showcase the incredible natural ingredients the coast has to offer.
