A beautiful reference to mid-century Scandinavian style, this sophisticated desk makes up part of the instantly recognisable Naver collection by Søren Nissen & Ebbe Gehl.
Crafted in Denmark from solid American walnut, the natural deep hue of the wood gives the desk a classic feel and a striking structure. The unique grain of the timber creates a beautiful contrast between the distinctive glacier white Corian top, which provides a work surface that is both strong and scratch and stain resistant. With retro-inspired slender legs, the desk has integrated drawers and a pop-up lid with a magnetised memo board, allowing you to utilise your space efficiently and create a streamlined work surface.
The furniture design partnership between Søren Nissen and Ebbe Gehl was formed in 1970. The Danish designers’ work is characterised by a commitment to sustainability; their mid-century aesthetics are adapted for contemporary living, centring on the idea that "nothing is less ecological than a product with a short shelf-life." Graduates of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Design, Nissen and Gehl are trained cabinet makers who have received various awards, grants and accolades over the years.
