The Conran Shop invites artist Sam Smyth to transform the Marylebone window into an expanse of geometric abstraction to coincide with our New Season launch.
Smyth's work celebrates the immediacy of colour perception, employing simple, hard-edged shapes to create rhythmic form and dramatic divisions of vivid colour. His largest project to date, the scale takes his compositions into the expanded visual field. The immersive installation allows the viewer to experience colour and form in an entirely new way.
Sam Smyth graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2014 and now works from his studio in Norfolk.
