Today we showcase a handful of the new accessories to arrive online at The Conran Shop. From fashion wares to decorative home accessories, we inject a splash of colour and a fresh feel to your spring shopping.
Tipped as ‘one to watch’ by Elle Decoration, Alexandra Von Furstenberg is an interior designer with a difference. Trained at the Parsons School of Design and Brown University, Alexandra was instrumental to her mother’s iconic fashion business in the 90’s before launching her own interiors collection in 2007. Creating luxurious, innovative and contemporary acrylic furniture and accessories, she synthesises art, home furnishings and fashion through her modern approach and use of colour. Once cool in the 1970's, Alexandra Von Furstenberg has brought back the must-have material for the contemporary design enthusiast.
Another brand with notable provenance, Cutler & Gross launched in 1969 with a flagship shop on Knightsbridge Green. Bringing bespoke glasses to discerning customers, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross focused on hand-crafting fames for an eclectic fan-base. Having showcased at London Fashion Week in 1982 they have grown to become a much sought after accessory for anyone with a taste for something unique. Still hand-made in the Cutler & Gross factory in Italy, collections fuse the classic and retro with the contemporary and avant-garde. We are pleased to welcome three new styles to The Conran Shop and keep our eyes peeled for more to follow.
Lily & Lionel is a fashion brand that is so sweet and nostalgic you wish you were part of the family. Lily was a dressmaker with a keen eye for design and a dab hand with a needle and thread, Lionel supplied apparel to some of the most glamorous boutiques in London. Leaning on her grand-parents heritage in the textiles industry, London College of Fashion graduate Alice Stone creates collections of must-have accessories in a range of attractive and appealing prints and colours. The Conran Shop is thrilled to be the exclusive stockist for a series of summer sarongs in three distinctive patterns. With holiday plans taking shape, make sure you pick one up for your trip!
