The Alex Eagle Edit

Ms Eagle is a globally recognised creative director who has revolutionised retail through her two concept spaces: Alex Eagle Studio and The Store. Expanding the remit beyond shopping to incorporate fashion, art, publishing, culture, food, philanthropy and interiors, Eagle has forged relationships with a cross-section of creatives across all disciplines and from around the world, cultivating a new ethos of collaboration and innovation that extends from art exhibitions and restaurants to bespoke tailoring and antique and contemporary furniture. She has been instrumental in the creation of a new cultural hub at 180 The Strand.

Starting off the Alex Eagle edit is none other than the PP225 Flag Halyard Lounge Chair, available exclusively at The Conran Shop in an olive take, imbuing a fresh breath of air into Hans J. Wegner's showstopping design for PP Møbler. Complementing it with Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina's Tolomeo Micro Desk Lamp for Artemide, Eagle considers it "simple, sleek and practical. What more could you want!" Then, what better to accent the duo than with the Drawing 15 Poster by Ronan Bouroullec, "a beautiful dash of colour to brighten any home."

In curating the perfect ambience for her space, Eagle proposes the latest from the London-based Moro Dabron and the Californian Flamingo Estate. Setting the scene with scented candles, the "so light and calming" Climbing Tuscan Rosemary and the Of Gardens will only elevate the room's scent; plus, the latter's ceramic vessel can, after use, be repurposed as "a vase or to serve snacks in for guests." The finishing touches are next, with Eagle proclaiming that "luxurious, delicious smelling soap is always essential," and she utilises the Native Botanical Hand Soap to do the job. On herself, she relishes the Augustine Eau de Parfum, "just trust me on this one; it smells amazing."
