Premiered at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2015, the characterful Kaari Wall Shelf showcases an innovative Fenix finish exclusively available at The Conran Shop, and was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Finnish design company Artek.

Crafted with an innovative Fenix finish that is exclusively available at The Conran Shop, this incredibly smart material ensures surfaces are highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, impact, fingerprints and liquids, resulting in easy maintenance and a unique soft-touch feel. 

Created by Italian company Arpa Industriale, Fenix is an extremely opaque nanotech material that is hardened and fixed with electron beam curing, which heals any superficial micro-scratches by harnessing this incredible technology.

Part of the Kaari Storage Collection, the Kaari Wall Shelf was designed by brothers and creative duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and exemplifies the pair’s distinctive style while upholding an affinity with Artek’s traditions, carving out a truly unique aesthetic.
