The Satin soup spoon by renowned Italian designer Gio Ponti is characterised as a playful reinvention of traditional cutlery.

With an almost post-modern aesthetic, the spoon is crafted from stainless steel with a matte satin finish and would introduce a touch of understated elegance to your table.

Gio Ponti

One of the most iconic and influential architects of the 20th century, Italian designer Gio Ponti revolutionised the worlds of architecture and design.

Ponti graduated in architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1921 after serving his country’s military in WWI. He took his first job with an Italian ceramics company, serving as artistic director, and began to pursue architecture soon afterward.

Ponti never viewed architecture as simply creating buildings. Instead, he often conceived the building’s interior as well, designing furniture, lighting, and even items such as ceramics, glassware and silverware.
