Named after the small Finish town of Kolho, this sculptural Coffee Table is designed by American artist Matthew Day Jackson for Made by Choice.
The table is expertly crafted from plywood using advanced technology in Finland with a silhouette that embodies the space between reason and chaos. Inspired by and coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the table is finished with an innovative Formica tabletop that reimagines the moon’s surface to scale.
Represented by contemporary and modern art gallery Hauser & Wirth, Matthew Day Jackson’s artistry encompasses sculpture, painting, photography and so much more. Centred around the themes of the human mind, technological advancement and the American Dream, his works have been exhibited and lauded all over the world.
