Literally translating to ‘desk lamp’, Vitra’s limited-edition Lampe de Bureau was originally designed by Jean Prouvé in 1930.

The lamp’s prestigious reputation is backed by its carefully crafted body, which showcases smooth powder-coated steel finished with a textile cable. A classic design, it will refine any surface its displayed upon.

Jean Prouvé is one of the twentieth century’s most influential designers, manufacturers, and educators. Playing a pivotal role in the development of mass production techniques in post-war modernist Europe, his wide-ranging portfolio spans from prefabricated housing solutions to furniture for the office, classroom and home.
