Designed by Sebastian Herkner for Ames, the large Pot 2 seeks inspiration from the archetypal forms of pieces displayed in Bogotá’s Museo del Oro, evoking a simplicity reminiscent of South American earthenware.
The pot has an almost sculptural aesthetic that is heightened by its minimalist black finish, which is crafted entirely by hand using black ceramic at a family-run pottery studio in the Tolima region of Colombia.
This heatproof pot can be used both indoors and outdoors for a versatile aesthetic, perfect as a planter, accessories holder or simply as a decorative accessory.
Please note: Due to the handmade nature of the design, each pot is one of a kind, so colour and shape may vary.
