Description
Designed by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret in 1928 at Le Corbusier's request, the LC4 Chaise Longue, manufactured by Cassina, creates the perfect environment for relaxation, supporting the back and raising the legs.
Crafted from a chrome tubular steel structure with a neutral ecru canvas seat and leather covered headrest, its C-shaped cradle and enamelled base enable it to be adjusted from an almost-upright position to practically horizontal for superior comfort.
The LC4 Chaise Longue was born when the designers decided to place the user at the centre of their design; taking the idea that its form and function should be the focus, to create a perfect balance between its geometry and ergonomic intent.
