Description
Revive your interiors with the LC1 Armchair in semi-gloss black enamel steel and black hairyskin, a design classic by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret for Cassina.
Originally designed in 1928, this timeless modernist design is also known as the Basculant Chair. With its sculptural shape and comfortable arm rests, the chair is undoubtedly ahead of its time.
Crafted from a semi-gloss black enamel tubular steel frame that supports the black hairyskin sling seat and leather arm rests, the LC1 Armchair is lightweight and perfectly balanced. The taut back rest and seat offer optimal comfort thanks to the visible tubular steel springs that support it.
With its machine-age materials and lack of ornamentation, the 1928 black hairyskin LC1 Armchair, manufactured by Cassina, is a classic example of the refined functional aesthetic that was embraced by such designers as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret.
Part of the Cassina I Maestri collection, the LC1 Armchair is a certified original design. Each armchair is marked with the designers’ signatures and the Cassina I Maestri logo, alongside the production number and identity card.
