Each piece is fashioned from earthenware and glazed by hand in Portugal, showcasing the country’s ceramic history, rich knowledge and skills of its artisans.
Earthenware is a type of pottery dating back thousands of years. Most ancient and medieval Middle Eastern and European painted ceramics are earthenware.
