Originally designed by George Nelson in 1946, the Nelson Platform Bench was reintroduced in 1994 and would lend a design edge to any space.
Equally suited to use as a coffee table, sideboard, bench and display unit, the bench’s top is crafted from strips of natural ash resting on a stained black ash base.
Beautifully streamlined, the elegant bench reflects Nelson’s architectural background. Having studied architecture in Rome, he enjoyed careers as a teacher, writer and editor before venturing into the world of design.
