The Conran Shop Isetan Shinjuku

We are honoured to have opened the latest expansion of The Conran Shop empire on 31st March 2021 in Tokyo's esteemed Isetan Shinjuku department store. The minimalist and luminous environment was created jointly by the creative teams of Japan and the United Kingdom, informed by Sir Terence Conran's philosophy of 'plain, simple, useful' design.

Evolved from our opening in Seoul in November 2019, our Isetan location is bright and accessible. Constructed with white-coated steel to resemble a masterly laboratory of design, the space displays unique products from the Conran Shop edit, sourced from all four corners of the world. The offerings of our favourite brands are displayed on oversized industrial trollies, and the central area features a selection of The Conran Shop's furniture and lighting edit, decorated in Sir Terence's signature and vibrant Conran Blue hue.
