Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2004 for Vitra, the artful Metal Side Table is now engineered for the outdoors.
Conceptualised as an inconspicuous piece for use all over the home and now the garden too, each table flaunts a contrast of thin tabletops and voluminous plinths shaped from galvanised steel, finished with a matt powder coating for endurance.
French designers and brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec conceptualised their first piece in 1982, when they built a football goal in their back garden. With a relaxed, product-driven approach to design, their creations connect to the user on a humanistic level, shunning mass-manufacturing in favour of clear, concise and easy-to-use furniture.
