Plissé Toaster in White

Designed by Michele de Lucchi, the Plissé Toaster from Alessi combines function and design, revealing its creator's architectural background.

The toaster features a pleating design that transforms it into a three-dimensional shape, with six heat settings and a defrost function. A beautiful object for both display and use, the toaster's design is reminiscent of an haute couture dress. 

Since it was founded in 1921, Alessi has prided itself on manufacturing its pieces by cold-working metals. The tradition is still alive today as the technique is still used by skilled workers at the Crusinallo workshop in Omegna.
