Preserve Pot Large Ink Blue

Add authenticity to your kitchenware collection with the large preserve pot in ink blue from the collection by traditional French ceramicist, Manufacture de Digoin.

Crafted from enamel stoneware, this Preserve Pot is handcrafted in a handful of workshops in Burgundy. Made with the finest stoneware clay sourced exclusively from France, the large ink blue Preserve Pot was fired to 1250°C in order to create a durable, non-porous construction perfect for storing food or condiments.

Founded in 1875, Manufacture de Digoin started as a small-scale family business in the heart of the ‘Ceramic Valley’ in the Digoin region of France. Known for its expertise in stoneware, the region was originally home to over 40 factories, each specialising in their own form of ceramic - and Manufacture de Digoin still manufactures to the same specialised standard as it did 140 years ago.

Glazed on the lid with an ink blue hue and left unglazed on the body of the pot, the large Preserve Pot would make a perfect dry storage pot or preserving vessel and coordinates beautifully with other pieces in the range.
