Accessorise your wall space with this colourful ‘Morgand’ print by Virginie Morgand for The Parisianer.
An illustrator based in Paris, Morgand trained as an animator before learning to screen print at l’Atelier Dupont, developing her colourful style while working for big names, publishers and on her own solo shows in Portugal and Paris. Her style encompasses movement and fluidity, making this print a vibrant and enigmatic artwork.
The Parisianer was conceptualised by French graphic artists Aurélie Pollet and Michael Prigent, who invited illustrators to envision the capital to create covers for their imagined publication.
Offering them “a carte blanche to express with the greatest possible force their vision of Paris in an image,” they brought together hundreds of illustrators and cartoonists to create contemporary tableaux of what they consider Parisian life to be.
Printed on matte creation paper in a quality usually reserved for fine art photography prints, this rare ‘Morgand’ print is delivered in a mount with a certified stamp of quality and would be sure to refresh your wall space.
