Konstantin Grcic's Tom and Jerry Stool is the redesign of a classic furniture typology: the workshop stool.
Made of solid beech wood with mechanical parts in coloured polypropylene, the stool is easy to adjust, with a seat supporting screw that allows the seat to span between 50cm and 66cm in height.
Grcic's three-legged design contrasts solid beechwood with plastic to produce a versatile product, suggesting its use in a variety of different settings and situations. The Tom and Jerry Stool is available in either a white or orange variety
A graduate of the Royal College of Art, German designer, Konstantin Grcic worked under Jasper Morrison before establishing his own studio in Munich. He has gone on to receive several prestigious awards for his designs.
