Konstantin Grcic's Tom and Jerry Stool is the redesign of a classic furniture typology: the workshop stool.
Crafted from solid beech wood with mechanical parts in coloured polypropylene, the stool is easy to adjust, with a seat supporting screw that allows the seat to adjust in height. Grcic's three-legged design contrasts solid beechwood with plastic to produce a versatile stool that would lend itself to any space.
A graduate of the Royal College of Art, German designer, Konstantin Grcic worked under Jasper Morrison before establishing his own studio in Munich. He has gone on to receive several prestigious awards for his designs, and his Tom and Jerry Stool is available in either a white or orange variety.
