Originally designed by Ron Arad in 1999, the organically-shaped white Tom Vac Chair is crafted today by Vitra.
Supported by a four-legged tubular steel base with a chrome-plated finish, the chair is topped by an instantly recognisable white dyed-through polypropylene shell that has been enhanced with additives to prevent it from bleaching in the sun. The shell’s corrugated structure enhances its flexibility and stability, as well as lending a contemporary edge to the design.
This generously proportioned chair delivers both comfort and practicality thanks to its stackable frame and is a striking and impressive example of modern design.
Please note: Whilst this chair has been specially designed to resist fading, we recommend limited exposure to sunlight as the colour may fade if exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods.
