Resembling a musical note on a score, GamFratesi's Violin Dining Chair for GUBI is a masterclass in theatrical yet functional design.
The supportive, half-armed chair exhibits a strong silhouette with a minimalist powder-coated steel profile, walnut back and elegantly tapered legs. Part-upholstered in Gabriel's Tempt fabric, the 100% polyester composition is best suited for soft seating.
Founded in 2006 by architects Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, the award-winning Copenhagen-based design house takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal, drawing on both designers' experiences of Danish and Italian craft traditions. Renowned for applying an experimental approach to every project, GamFratesi awards each design with a visible historical context and unique, fresh aesthetic.
