Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1972, the white Wire Table Lamp is still crafted by his design house, Verpan, today.
Cleverly designed with a cylindrical wire framework crafted from chrome-plated steel, the statement table lamp is finished with a white plastic shade that diffuses light evenly throughout any space.
Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned across the globe as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike the work of his contemporaries, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London.
